Manchester United striker Eric Ten Hag has asked Cristiano Ronaldo to find a new club before the Dutchman is appointed as the club’s coach, according to reports.
Eric ten Hag is said to be weeks away from announcing his training as Manchester United coach after the Old Trafford hierarchy decided to go with him before Mauricio Pochettino.
The Ajax Amsterdam manager is reportedly waiting for the list of demands that must be met before finalizing the decision and one of them is an opinion on the team building.
Ronaldo, whose transfer from the club was requested by the Dutchman in the summer, will be one of the first victims of the appointment of Ten Hag. Daily Star.
Ronaldo is under contract with United until 2023 with an option to extend for another year, but despite his goals, his return did not go as planned.
Ronaldo is currently under investigation for a misdemeanor involving an Everton fan when he smashed the fan’s phone in the last match.
Former United midfielder Kleberson has also ordered Ronaldo’s Portuguese teammate Bruno Fernandes to leave when Tin Hag arrives at Old Trafford, along with Marcus Rashford and Harry Maguire.
Cliperson, talking to Buddy PowerHe said: “Eric ten Hag will be a change of style because his teams want to have the ball and have more possession and that can help the great players at United like Paul Pogba, Cristiano Ronaldo and Marcus Rashford – they like to have the ball at their feet.
“I can see a lot of players at Manchester United leaving if they appoint a new manager who is building for the long term. It gives Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and Cristiano Ronaldo the opportunity to leave the club as a lot of things could change with a new coach.”
Elsewhere, United target Harry Kane decided to disdain the club.
Kane has opted instead to stay at Tottenham Hotspur and will assess his future at the north London club after the summer transfer window.
