Paulo Dybala’s contract with Juventus will expire in June, and the striker is expected to spend after seven years, five Serie A titles, and 113 of the club’s total of 287 appearances.

The Argentine attacking midfielder has courted clubs in Spain and England as well as Italy where he has spent most of his career. It is said that Juventus, in preparation for his exit, has identified two possibilities to replace him in the short and long term.

The club is targeting Shakhtar Donetsk winger David Neres who has been unable to play football for a few months due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine by the club to move before the summer.

Neres, 25, is the long-term alternative targeted by the club who hope he can replicate the form at Ajax Amsterdam at the Allianz Stadium he was on his way to replicate in Shakhtar Donetsk before the war that led to the collapse of Ukraine and football.

Dybala’s Argentine teammate, Angel Di Maria, is the short-term alternative that Juventus are considering for Dybala. Di Maria, 34, is hoping to end his career in Argentina and is also out of contract with his current club, Paris Saint-Germain.

However, Juventus could provide him with one last big win and a shot at more European glory before he returns to Argentina.

Gianluca Di Marzio claims that the Bianconeri are currently in negotiations with representatives of both players regarding a summer transfer. However, Di Maria’s wage requirements may be too much for a Torino club who sees him coming from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and Real Madrid.

Dybala is also linked with Inter Milan and Roma, whose star Juventus is also courting Nicolo Zaniolo as a replacement for Dybala.

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League have also expressed an interest in Dybala and it is believed Antonio Conte is willing to push the move to talk with everything at his disposal.

Amid all these, two Juventus stars, Fabio Capello and Alessandro Del Piero, gave some advice to Dybala about his future.

Both icons want Dybala to stay at the club, but while Capello insists Dybala is fighting for his place, Del Piero has opted to advise him to avoid the Premier League if he decides to leave Turin in the summer.

Del Piero used Lionel Messi’s suffering at PSG as an example for Dybala to notice.

The English Premier League and Ligue 1 are two of the most physical leagues in the top flight of European football. Del Piero advised Dybala to choose La Liga instead, where his technical qualities would shine instead.

Del Piero was speaking with Sky Italia when he made the comments: “A league like La Liga will help him in every way,” he said.

“Whenever physical tournaments are like England and France, I think of Messi when he went to a league that was physically difficult. In Spain and Italy, Dybala performed well.”

But Capello insists that Dybala stays and fights for his right to wear the Juventus shirt. “He wants some revenge (against Juventus), a lot of it,” said the former Bianconeri coach. La Gazzetta dello Sport

“But if I was still a player, I would stay at Juventus, even if it meant a lot less profit, just to get that satisfaction.”
