Napoli are looking to bolster their squad with young blood, having already secured the signing of Georgian prodigy Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Now another talent – from Argentina – has appeared on the radar of the Partenopei.
Banfield prodigy Giuliano Galoppo emerged as one of the La Liga’s most sought-after talents in 2021, his breakthrough year. After making his professional senior debut for the Buenos Aires side in 2018/19, Galoppo has suffered from a lack of playing time ever since.
According to TUTTOmercatweb (via TuttoNapoli), the attacking centre-back, who can also function as a full-back on the right, is designed to reinforce Luciano Spalletti’s team where it matters most.
His performances for Banfield caught the attention of Napoli director Cristiano Giuntoli for a summer makeover.
He has been offered both Sampdoria and Napoli and it seems a move to Italy would be his first choice given he has dual Argentine-Italian citizenship
