A new era begins for Milan with the takeover of the club by Investcorp ahead of the 2022/23 season. With new ownership comes a whole new budget that is expected to change the face of the team, but with backend management of Paolo Maldini, Ricky Massara and Geoffrey Moncada it remains.
One of Milan’s main goals is to increase the number of youth talents in the team and this is where midfielder Maxence Caqueret’s name comes up, according to Lyon Calciomercato. In a similar effort in the vein of Pierre Kalulu, the Rossoneri Management wants to stay with Caqueret and make him an integral part of Milan’s midfield in the future.

The 22-year-old midfielder expires in the summer of 2023 and could be available for under €20m transfer market Valuation.
He is expected to directly replace Tiemoue Bakayoko in the Rossoneri ranks. Moreover, with four seasons of professional first-team experience, Caqueret could find himself in Stefano Pioli’s starting XI sooner rather than later if a deal goes through.
Caqueret is also on Leicester City’s radar to replace Youri Tielemans in midfield.
